These Terms govern your use of the Cuiscan mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Cuiscan lets you scan restaurant menus and dishes to get AI-generated descriptions, estimated nutrition, eating guides, and nearby restaurant suggestions. The App is provided for informational and convenience purposes only.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store terms.

3. No medical, nutritional, or safety advice

Dish identification, nutrition values, ingredients, and dietary or allergen tags are AI-generated estimates that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The App does not provide medical, nutritional, or allergy-safety advice. Do not rely on the App for decisions related to allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, or dietary requirements. Always verify directly with the restaurant. You use this information at your own risk.

4. Subscriptions

• Premium features are available via an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual) sold through your Apple ID.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Pricing is shown in the App before purchase.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including: reverse engineering, abusing or overloading the service or its APIs, attempting to bypass usage limits, or using the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-party content

The App relies on third-party services (e.g., Google, Serper, Unsplash, RevenueCat, Apple) and may display images and data from them. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from reliance on information provided by the App, including nutrition or allergen estimates.

9. Changes

We may modify the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Peru, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
